Data Migration project management
AGCO is a leading global provider of agricultural equipment. They engaged Infonyx to help lead and coordinate their data migration program as they transition from their legacy system landscape to the Global AGCO system landscape. The program includes the migration of data for whole goods, parts, sparex, grains and protein, as well as several digital products. Infonyx's technical expertise and project management skills are key in helping AGCO meet project deadlines and identifying critical dependencies and blockers.
Business Problem
AGCO's legacy system landscape is limiting its ability to effectively track project activities, identify critical dependencies and blockers, and meet project deadlines. To move to the Global AGCO system landscape, a comprehensive data migration program was necessary, but AGCO's business manager was unable to dedicate sufficient time to the project due to existing responsibilities.
Project Objectives
The data migration program led by Infonyx will help AGCO transition from its current legacy system landscape to the Global AGCO system landscape. The program will provide AGCO with an enterprise-wide view of streams and make it easier to track project activities and identify critical dependencies and blockers. As a result, AGCO will be able to effectively meet project deadlines and move to the Global AGCO system landscape as planned.
